Similar to many major endowments, Ventana builds multi-asset class portfolios using publicly traded stocks and bonds along with carefully selected alternative and private investments, where appropriate. We strive to construct durable portfolios with superior risk-adjusted returns that stand the test of time.
FINANCIAL PLANNING
Ventana consults with clients on a wide variety of financial planning topics and creates comprehensive financial plans as needed. We offer objective answers to short term questions, while providing a roadmap for longer term goals and a view of the bigger picture.

Ventana Private Wealth is a boutique wealth management firm that partners with select families, individuals, foundations, and institutions. We are experienced and credentialed professionals who want to understand your unique circumstances, goals, and objectives in order to respond with custom advice and solutions. We work diligently to solve problems, improve outcomes, and provide financial peace of mind.

Ventana partners with many of the industry's leading asset management firms to deliver a best-in-class investment management experience. We utilize both active and passive strategies and provide unique access to compelling alternative and private investments that may complement and enhance a traditional portfolio of publicly traded securities. Ventana also offers comprehensive financial planning and consulting services as needed.

Who We Are
Ventana Private Wealth
Amy Boyd, CFA®, CFP®, Founder, Principal: Amy has over 25 years of experience in investment management and research, including dedicated wealth management roles for the last 15 years. She has an undergraduate degree in English from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Master's degree in Business from the University of Colorado at Denver. Amy has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) practitioner. Amy is an active board member for the CFA Society of Colorado where she leads the effort to partner with local non-profits to provide financial literacy and personal finance education to underserved constituents. She is also a volunteer puppy raiser for Freedom Service Dogs of America.
In Memory of Gabby, Chief Morale Officer: As CMO, Gabby was responsible for keeping spirits high and stress low, a role in which she excelled. She liked to remind the team to get outside each day and to enjoy the simple things in life. Favorites included backpacking, belly rubs, and beef jerky. We are forever grateful to Safe Harbor Lab Rescue for bringing Gabby into our lives.
Springtide Partners
Ventana is honored to work with Springtide Partners. Springtide is a Chicago-based boutique investment consultancy firm that is dedicated to delivering objective and independent research, consulting, and content support to investment advisors, family offices, and financial institutions around the country. Springtide currently partners with firms that collectively oversee over $25B in assets.

Aaron Dirlam, CFA®, CAIA®: Aaron is a Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer at Springtide Partners. Aaron has over 25 years of investment experience, including as Managing Director of Investment Research at a $4B Chicago-based Registered Investment Adviser. Aaron has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation and is also a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®) Charterholder.
Paul Courtney, CFA®, CAIA®: Paul is a Co-Founder and Director of Research at Springtide Partners. Paul has 18 years of investment management experience, including as Director of Research for a $4B Chicago-based Registered Investment Adviser. Paul has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation and is also a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®) Charterholder.
Advisory Board
Jeanne Saunders, CFP®: Jeanne has over 30 years of experience in financial services including fixed income trading, wealth management, and financial planning. Jeanne is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) practitioner, and has spent her career at large, publicly traded institutions as well as boutique private firms. She has a wealth of knowledge, experience, and common sense to share. Jeanne is actively involved in the Denver community and is a past Chair of the Denver Public Schools Foundation Board of Directors. She is currently a board member for the International Women's Forum of Colorado including recently serving as President.
